STARPERY – Warming Every Lonely Heart through Companionship

In 2016, I began selling silicone dolls. At the time, I considered them simply adult products, but one experience completely changed my understanding of this work.

That year, a customer purchased a doll from us. When FedEx delivered it, no one was home to sign for it. We repeatedly tried to contact her, but received no response. Days later, we unexpectedly received an email from her friend—informing us that the customer had passed away at home a week earlier. That moment left us deeply shaken and made us realize that what we offer is more than adult toys; in some way, our dolls can provide companionship to those who are lonely or struggling.

This experience made us rethink the meaning of Starpery. According to the World Health Organization’s latest World Mental Health Report, approximately 970 million people worldwide suffer from mental health conditions. That’s one in every eight people experiencing varying degrees of psychological distress, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, mood disorders, and other major conditions. Seeing these numbers strengthened our resolve: to make better, more accessible silicone dolls that can offer companionship to every lonely or vulnerable individual.

In 2019, Starpery was officially founded. From that moment on, we set a goal—to use technology and care to help more people. This original intention was like a small seed planted in our hearts, guiding us to continuously improve our products and enhance user experience, making our dolls not only beautiful and exquisite but also truly meaningful in providing companionship and emotional support.

Over time, every innovation at Starpery has been a challenge. For each product, we strive to perfect its functionality, texture, and overall experience, sharing these technologies and insights with other manufacturers so that more people can benefit. We believe that companionship and care should not be the privilege of a few—they should be a warmth accessible to all.
