1. Articulated finger
Articulated finger, named as mechanical finger, hand skeleton too. The design of this feature is fantastic; if doll hands without bones, the fingers and palms will just look soft and powerless. After harder metal stuff built-in, the doll fingers can roughly act like humanbeing's. However, the issues comes with the metal bone as well. You know, fingers are thin and fragile, the material(TPE/Silicone) wrapping metal skeleton is limited and soft, it can't be thick like arms. With long-term of wearing and tearing caused by gravity, force, frequent bending (for example, your doll remains a doggy-style for hours and hours, the palm and finger will bear quite a lot ), the metal inside will definitely keep friction and tear the soft materials outside and finally fingers get broken.
Articulated finger is excellent in terms of reality and usage experiences. But it might be the most fragile part of a sex doll. we have been improving the design, trying to make it more durable. As of now, the newest version has better finger sides which were typical torn-up parts before. The finger tips are still risky if bearing too much. Kindly suggest a proper use and we will also make it better.
UPDATED IN July,2022:
Starpery finally launched out new version finger bones and improved a lot:
1st: steel metal, and with ball tips to protect the peak puncture.
2nd: change the square metal finger to round finger bone, better for peak puncture also.
3rd: ball joint at wrist, more flexible.
Suggestion:
Possibly, lay your doll down when you don't need it; free your doll's hands (ps: overly doggy style will give doll hands big pressures ), don't stand or stay her in a hard pose for long time like months and without care(straighten arm naturally, regular water cleaning, baby powder)...in this case, not just fingers, the doll skin will probably be torn up.
